Hello! My name is Brenda Wakefield.
During my 20+ years managing HOA and Condominium Associations and consulting with their Boards, I found gaps in the relationships between homeowners and the HOA Boards, current and future homeowners, realtors, builders, contractors...we all have a role to play.

MY PHILOSOPHY
How did it used to be? What has it become? Where do we want it to go?
Those are the basic questions we have always asked. Suddenly, we all were forced to adapt to new ways to keep things going - to keep moving forward in unexpected, unplanned circumstances.
Whose strategic plan included a contingency for a global pandemic!
Now, we have to take a look at what our communities were vs. what they have become so we can get where we need to be. We shouldn’t discard what works today, but neither should we abandon what worked yesterday.
Now is the time to evaluate our associations - to build consensus while incorporating these changes. From sitting in a meeting room together to sitting behind a screen, your association has to figure out how to do this.
